Jane was my homeroom teacher at Morgan Park from 1971 to 1974 and if it wasn’t for her I never would have finished or gone on to graduate college. I got married in high school and even thou my wife didn’t go to that school Jane arranged it with my teachers that she could be in class with me because she knew it was the only way I’d show up. We remained close friends (family) all of these years and considered her family. Our son was born 20 years after school and she had our baby shower at her house. She treated our son like her own grandchild. We are going to miss her terribly and she will always be a big part of our lives.
