Obituary of Jane Sue Ferrill

Jane Sue Ferrill nee Skelly, 79, of Blue Island, passed from this life Saturday, September 8, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip Lee Ferrill. Jane is the loving mother of Julie (Tim) McGarry, James W. (Nora) Ferrill and Nicole Ferrill. She is the devoted grandmother of Maureen (Rob) Romanet, Christopher (Kate) McGarry, Kelsey Broughton,  John W. Ferrill, Carolyn Ferrill, Catherine Ferrill and Hannah Ferrill and the adored great grandmother of Aiden, Lily and Beverly Romanet.

Jane was a resident of Blue Island for forty years. She began her career of teaching Home Economics at Morgan Park High School in 1962 and continued for thirty-nine years. Jane was a gifted artist and enjoyed many hobbies including painting, sewing and gardening. She was a supporting member of the community, not only opening up her home for the annual house walk, but always taking the time to decorate her home beautifully at Christmas for all to enjoy.

Visitation for Jane will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Cremation will be private.
