Obituary of William Charles Foss

William C. Foss, 87, of Monee, formerly of Oak Forest and Blue Island. He is the beloved husband of Verna S. nee Svalstad and the late Joan Lee nee Corti. William is the loving father of Lori Joan (Rick) Shemoski, David William (Lora) Foss and Sandra Leigh (James) McMahon. He is the devoted grandfather of Allison (Ryan) Kutchinski, Paige (Michael) Stryczek, Amanda (Michael) Miranda, Ashley (Ken) Moranz, Erin (Dennis) Hawes, Lauren (Eric) Royer, David Foss, Caitlin McMahon, Daniel McMahon and Colleen McMahon. William is the proud great grandfather of Ava, Emma, Brayden, Audrey, Jaxson, Parker, Colton and the late Ryan. He was the fond brother of the late Lee Foss, Marvin Foss, Vernon Foss, John Foss, Una Roegner and Ora Gurgone. William is the step-father of Sophia (Brian) Ritchey, James J. Heimlich and Margie (Tim) Auman. He is the step-grandfather of Zachary and Dominic Ritchey, Jacob J. Heimlich, Brooke Tobin and Justus and Morgan Auman. William was a retired employee of Butternut Bread and former owner of Rustic Haven Resort in Crandon, Wisconsin. He was a former member of the Lions Club and the Booster Club at Oak Forest High School. He enjoyed boating, fishing and people watching. Visitation for William will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:30 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island.
