Obituary of Lillian M. Wessel

Tribute & Message From The Family Lillian M. Wessel nee Kirchhardt, 77, Blue Island resident since 1971, beloved wife of the late Norman, whom she married October 21, 1989. Loving mother of Vicki Brown, Charles (Deborah) Turrisi, Theodore Turrisi, John (Crystal) Turrisi and Anthony (Clarrissa) Turrisi. Cherished grandmother of 13 and proud great grandmother of 4. Dear sister of June (late George) Schramka and Edna (Roger) Russell. Lillian lovingly raised five children, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Lillian started her career at St. Francis Hospital as a Nurse's Aide and then moved up to an Admitting Clerk. She then took time to obtain a Series "7" license and worked as an Insurance & Stock Broker at Wealth Unlimited. She went back to St. Francis and soon advanced to Supervisor over the Admitting Department. When Lill retired, she still helped out friends in the hearing aid and insurance businesses. Finally, she took on her favorite job as Pastor Steele's right hand lady and did the "Church Calling". Lill made many friends over the years and of course, spread the Good News Of Salvation thru Jesus Christ to everyone she met. We love her and we know "Jesus Loves Her More."
