My heartfelt condolences to Kathy and her family on the loss of Bob. I met Bob 49 years ago at Quigley South high school when we were both freshmen. We were great friends for many years but, unfortunately, we lost touch when I moved out of the area. I was in Blue Island recently and decided to look up Bob to reconnect. I was deeply saddened to learn that he had passed away. Bob was always very kind and thoughtful and generous. We had many good times together through the years and I feel blessed to have called him my friend. Rest in peace always Bob.

I worked with Bob at Saint Francis Hospital in blue Island. He was such a good friend. We went out to lunch a few times and had some great laughs
I knew something was up when I didn’t get a Christmas card from him. I get a Christmas card every year with a lottery ticket in it so I gave him a call and he told me he was in a rehab center, at the time I had RSV and as soon as I was better, I was gonna go visit him with my friend C What athy Gonzalez , who also worked at Saint Francis Hospital with Bob . We had plenty of good times he had so many friends from SFH. I couldn’t believe when I got the message from Ron Calvillo that Bob passed away just didn’t seem possible since I had just talked to him and he sounded so positive and so good. I’m so sorry for the loss of your brother Bob and I hope you will let us know in the spring time when you have the memorial for him.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Laskey family. You truly lost a great person. No words can describe what a huge loss he is.
Bob was the best friend anyone could ask for. I have known Bob for a short 2 years and it felt like a lifetime. Bob would light up any room he walked into. There was never a day that he was upset, he always had a smile on his face and if you were ever down Bob would light your world up and make you laugh. He was the most positive person i had ever met. Bob you will be truly missed and could NEVER be replaced. Fly high with the Angels and Rest in Peace buddy.

I met Bob in high school, we quickly became great friends, and our friendship grew stronger over the years. I could count on Bob to voice what others were thinking, add levity to dark times, and encourage each of us to be ourselves. Bob loved generously, laughed with abandon, and lived fully. I grieve him, confident that he is no longer in pain and confident that there are many like me who are all the better for knowing him. Rest in peace my friend.
