Obituary of Loreno Giovannetti

Loreno "Larry" Giovannetti passed from this life on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the age of 96.  Loreno is the loving father of Stephen (Catherine), Laurie Murphy, Thomas (Julie) and Mark (Laura) Giovannetti.  He is the cherished grandfather of Brian (Kathleen), Jack (Telma), and Maria Murphy, Henry, Veronica, Maggie, Emily, Sergio, Julia, and Giovanni Giovannetti.  Loreno is the dearest brother of Rose (Larry) Bosco and the late Rudy (late Oriana) and the dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Loreno was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Ushers Club of the church and also a member of the Sportsman Club and the Mazzini Verdi Club.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20th, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island.  Funeral services begin Thursday, July 21st at 9:15 am with chapel prayers at the Krueger Funeral Home, followed by a funeral procession to St. Mary Magdalene Parish (formerly St. Walters) at 118th St. and Western Ave. in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 am.  Cremation private.
