Loreno Giovannetti passed from this life on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the age of 96. Loreno is the beloved husband of the late Gail and the loving father of Stephen (Catherine) Giovannetti, Laurie Murphy, Thomas (Julie) Giovannetti and Mark (Laura) Giovannetti. He is the cherished grandfather of Henry, Veronica, Brian (Kathleen) Giovannetti, John and Maria Murphy, Margaret, Emily, Sergio, Julia and Giovanni Giovannetti. He is the dearest brother of Rose (Larry) Bosco and the late Rudolfo (late Oriana) Giovannetti and the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.



Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20th, at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services begin Thursday 9:15 am with chapel prayers then to St. Walter Catholic Church, 118th St. and Western Ave. in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 am. Cremation private. Loreno was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Ushers Club of the church.
