Obituary of Melvin H. Duncan

Melvin H. Duncan, 70, of Blue Island, passed from this life Friday, May 20, 2022. Melvin was born August 29, 1951 in Chicago to the late Violet Lathrop and the late William Robert Duncan. He was employed by both G&T and Wayne Built & Sons as a semi-truck driver and mechanic. Melvin was a very active man. He loved antique cars and enjoyed attending classic car shows. Melvin is the beloved husband of Joanne E. nee Ciesla. He is the loving father of Laura (Bill) Duncan and William Duncan. Melvin is the dear brother of Adele Singleton and the late Elaine Lizon. Visitation for Melvin will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. Please omit flowers, thank you.
