Skip will be missed a ton. My favorite memories were his stories. Hiking down 394 with his scout troop to Camp Crete. The old railroad bridge across Plum Creek, the Girl Scout camp in the other side of Bemes Road, showing me the abandoned water pumps and wash station on Scout Trail. The flaming toilet paper rolls sent down a cable from the trees to magically start the camp fire. And of course his bees. That indoor hive was a bear to maintain but he was loyal to the bees. I loved his phone calls after he was too weak to visit. “What are y’a doing?” We always had great conversations. Miss you lots Skip. My love to you all Bonnie, Kim, Scott and Merritt.
