Jensie and Mary,
I have so many memories of your mom and my Godmother that I will treasure forever. One of the memories that I will always treasure the most is when Carolyn called me after my mom passed and told me " Your mom is gone so I will know be your mom because I am your Godmother." She did exactly that. Carolyn and I would talk (I wish more) about everything. Your mom had the best advice and loved me no matter what. The greatest gift I have received in my life was given to me by my mom when I was an infant, it was Carolyn accepting her request of being my Godmother. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to say goodbye to Carolyn two Saturdays ago. It was so hard to say goodbye but I know she is in heaven with everyone who left before her and not in any pain. They are all sitting about the dining room table having coffee and coffee cake from the Heaven Swedish Bakery talking and laughing. Your mom was an extremely special, loving, beautiful, modest lady who I miss terribly and will always remember her sweet smile, humor, generous love and wisdom. How will we get through this difficult time? We will together, always keeping Carolyn in our hearts keeping her memory alive as long as we are on this earth. Someday we will see her again, we to will sit at that dining room table enjoying enormous love, conversation and that yummy coffee and baked goods. I love you guys!
