Obituary of Ramon Aguayo

Ramon M. Aguayo, 73, of Chicago, passed from this life Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He is the beloved husband of Nicolasa and the loving father of Ernestina A. (Gudberto) Saenz, Guadalupe (Veronica) Aguayo, Ubaldo (Sandra) Aguayo, Gustavo Aguayo, Hugo (Tanisha) Aguayo, Braulio (Luz) Aguayo and Rolando (Kelly) Aguayo. Ramon is the cherished grandfather of Isaac, Cynthia, Alexia, Tiffany, Angel, Christian, Alondra, Monica, Elizabeth, Daniel, Itzel, Ashley, Christeena, Michael, Jonathan, Evelyn and Juliet and the proud great grandfather of Ethan and Elaina.

Ramon was a retired employee of Ardagh Group, formerly known as Ball Glass. He was devoted to his family. Ramon enjoyed spending time with them, sharing stories of his life in Mexico. While living in Mexico, he enjoyed the Charro lifestyle along with mariachi music.  

Visitation for Ramon will be held Friday, January 4, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Holy mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island. Cremation will be private.
