I just found out that Ron passed away. I met Ron in 1972 at DDE. We had gym class together for three or four years. We were just kids. He was a heckuva good guy. My sincere condolences to Ron's family and friends. He will be sorely missed. God Bless you Ron.

Ron will be missed by so many. His short life had so many accomplishments and truly speaks to the words " Its not the years in ones life but the life in ones years.
His kind heart and good natured personality reflects the Calumet Park ethics of such a great American community.
Ron rightfully takes his seat at the table among the Kings of Kings.
Take Care my Friend and Godspeed home.

My brother, Tom, used to hang out with Ronnie (who was also known as Opie), Jeff Jachna, Bob Randon, and Dennis from West Pullman. Kids are often annoying and the group would make fun of me except for Ronnie. I was an easy target -- quiet and small. Ronnie would say, "Hey, come on, stop picking on her, leave her alone!" Wow. That was so awesome. I will always remember that about him. Thank you, Ron.

Ron my buddy and old neighbor God has blessed me for knowing you these past 30 some years. There isn't anyone that you've meet that didn't like you. You were taken from family and friends to damn early and a lot of people's hearts were broken. I will remember your kindness and friendship forever. Rest now my friend you are in the arms of our Lord and no longer in pain
