Obituary of Joseph Edward Marx

Joseph E. Marx, 92, of Blue Island. He was the beloved husband of the late Cora nee Pott, who passed away March 22, 2015. Joseph is the loving father of Dale (Pamela) Novak, the late Darlyn Hendricks, the late Diane Novak, Joe (Debbie) Marx and Dan (Joann) Marx. He is the cherished grandfather of thirteen and the proud great grandfather of fifteen. Joseph is the dear brother of the late Lee Homer, Ann Revor, Marie Hersam, Eva Marx, Rose Gentzel, Helen Adolphi, Leo Marx and Magdaline Merkent.

Joseph was a United States Navy veteran, serving in WWII. He was a faithful member of Mission Covenant Church.

A memorial visitation will be held for Joseph on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 27, at 10:30 am at Mission Covenant Church, 2501 Collins St., Blue Island. Cremation will be private.
