Dear Rose, Rich and Jerry,
I remember how happy your Dad was when he introduced his wife Kathe to me when they first returned from Germany. He was so proud of her. Kathe was always a good wife and mother. She was always good to Uncle Wayne and me,too. We enjoyed many holidays together for dinner at your home.
I am so glad that your Mom enjoyed traveling to Kentucky to visit your Dad's aunt Bernie and to visit us in Colorado.
I know how proud your mother would be of you Rose & Rich taking such good care of her at the end, dealing with all the doctors, hospital & nursing home situations. You really tried to get the best care for her. I'm proud of you also.
It had to be so difficult for you to have lost your mother in the same year as your father. Keep strong for one another and lean on God when it gets lonely for you.
