Beloved wife of the late Kenneth P., loving mother of Dennis, Tammy, William, Gregory and the late Fredrick, devoted grandmother of Martin Jr., Kenneth, Jordi and Jesse, proud great grandmother of Tony, Adam, Alex, Ryan , Aidan, Sandra and Marcus, cherished sister of Barbara Craighead. Gertrude was formerly employed by IL Bell in Blue Island as a telephone operator for eleven years. She was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church of Blue Island and was also a former foster mother for IL Department of Children & Family Services for twelve years.
