Obituary of Alexis Rose Mendez

Alexis Rose Mendez, 18, of Blue Island. She is the beloved daughter of David J. and Rosalinda nee Salgado Mendez and the loving sister of David A. Mendez. Alexis Rose is the cherished granddaughter of Herminio and Antonia Salgado and Daniel and Lucy Mendez. She is the adored niece of Alicia (Larry) Skalnik, Eloisa and Daniel Mendez, Mary (Ruben) Mendez and Vince (Therese) Mendez. Alexis Rose is the dear cousin of Patty (Paul) Vieraitis, Jessica (Matt) Raiser, Jillian (Mike) Lam, Lauren Mendez and Vincent Mendez. Alexis Rose was a lover of animals and especially enjoyed spending time with Cha-Cha, Oso and Scooby. She attended Eisenhower High School and was in her senior year, she leaves many friends, teachers and classmates to cherish her memory. Visitation for Alexis Rose will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Chapel prayers will be conducted Saturday, March 19, at 9:00 am the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island, for mass at 10:00 am. Interment Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park.
