Obituary of Horacio Ramirez
Horacio Ramirez, 38, of Chicago, IL, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015, of natural causes. He was born in Chicago, IL on August 27, 1977 to Apolonio Ramirez and Amanda (Chavira) Ramirez. Horacio graduated from Curie Metropolitan High School and later went on study Radio Broadcasting at Columbia College in Chicago, IL. He worked at WPWX Power 92 FM Radio in Hammond, IN, as a Production Assistant where he produced several skits and commercials.
Horacio’s wonderful charisma and creative talents led him to the world of comedy. His passion for the stage was a commitment like no other. Horacio was not just an entertainer, he was an artist. His gift for story-telling was captivating and left you wanting more. His presence off and on the stage was magnetic.
Horacio’s gentleness caused all to love him. He was a hero to his niece and nephews who saw him as a perfect uncle. His kindness and compassion for others garnered him countless friends throughout his life's journey.
Horacio is survived by his brother Robert, sister Monica (Ramirez) Saldivar, niece and nephews, parents Apolonio and Amanda, and many, many friends who will miss his charm, sense of humor, and smile dearly.
Visitation Sunday, September 27, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Additional services and burial will take place in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
