It was a pleasure knowing Apostle Pulliam. As a fellow musician at Liberty Temple, it was always fun for him to accompany us on the piano. He always told me that he wished that he could play the guitar like me and I always told him that I wished that I could play the piano like him. He was indeed a delight to be around. He is already missed.

If anyone should ever write my life story, for whatever reason there might be
You'd be there between each line of pain and glory...
Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me...
(I can picture/hear you telling the world)

Growing up, you often filled the role my father failed to take up. You showed love to everyone around you and I for one am a better person having had you in my life. Though time and space has separated us, the mark you made on my life can never be erased. Journey in Peace Bernie, say hi to BB for me. (JIP)

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. As we all know our beloved Pastor Bernie is with the Lord, but he is still going to be missed very much. Words can't express the joy and sadness that I feel in my heart for this loss and for my dear sister Virgie. You were blessed to have a Godly man stand by your side for so many years. He cherished and adored you and the whole world knew that.
To you sister Virgie, Keeley and the entire family....may the Lord give you strength each day, peace and comfort and my he always watch and protect each one of you.
I was also blessed to have had shared many years with Pastor Bernie. His smile and great big hugs always warmed my heart.
Until we meet again Pastor....Love you..

Virge and family
There are no words to let you know how saddened our family is with the loss of Bernie. He was our rock, someone we all leaned on for counseling, support, prayers, advice and unconditional love. We not only expected all of these things from him, but received all of that and more, along with that wonderful, big smile of his. He was a true servant of God, a wonderful example of what it means to be a good husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend .Some one we all looked up to and will continue to strive to be like. He will never be forgotton. All of us are here for love and support so please lean on us when needed. I know Gods love and peace will surround you at this trying time. We all love you very much. I can hear the beautiful music, singing and rejoicing in heaven already. God Bless sis,
Shirley

I remember Ben from when I started at Xerox in 1983. Everything about him was said and done with a cadence of someone who seemed to truly love all.
It is no surprise to me now that he was a servant of the Lord as a reverend.
The only thing that seemed larger than Ben was that warm smile.
He truly had a heart of gold.
The years have passed and it has been a very long time since I have seen you my friend.
God Bless you and your family. I am sure that you will be missed by those you leave here.
RIP Ben.

Our deep condolences to Virginia and her family. We remember Ben as a kind and loving man. Ron enjoyed working with Ben at Xerox and often asked about him when Chicago tech reps came to Rochester for training. May God bring comfort to you and your family knowing that he is in His hands and is home. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
