Obituary of Gabriel Melendez

Gabriel Melendez, 61, of Peoria, formerly of Chicago, beloved father of Rebecca (Pedro) Garcia, Raquel (Hector) Madrid and Ariela Nevarez, cherished grandfather of Olivia, Emma, Frida and Madelynn, dear son of the late Francisco (late Celia Uribe) Melendez, loving brother of Salvador Melendez, Carmen Garcia, Luz Barrientos, George Melendez, Elvira Garcia, Maria Mendoza, Lupe Rios and Francisco Melendez. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015, from 9:00 am until the time of chapel prayers at 10:15 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, then to St. Donatus Church, 1939 Union St., Blue Island for a memorial mass at 11:00 am. Interment of cremains at Beverly Cemetery, 12000 S. Kedzie Ave., Blue Island.
