We would like to offer our condolences on the loss of your father," Lud."
I am married to Jack Schmidt, son of Bill and Betty Schmidt, formerly of Homewood, IL., who lived around the corner for 12 years. We moved to Michigan in 1966.
Along with Jack's brother, Keith of Houston, TX, we always admired the extremely long lasting and loving relationship between the Schmidt's and Haderer's. (Understand Betty and Fran were friends since Kindergarten!)
They had many fun times together through the years and were tireless correspondents, with weekly letters between Douglas, MI and Blue Island, IL.
This note is a recognition of four outstanding people who were so lucky to be dear friends for decades. In fact, we feel they "Wrote the Book on Friendship!"
Our families were so blessed to have all of them...their love and laughter, in our lives.
