Robert E. Bartle, age 82, lifelong resident of Blue Island, former owner and operator of Flowers by Bartle, beloved husband of Maryanne nee Eichler, loving father of Leslie (James) Landenberger and Bob (late Pam) Bartle, proud grandfather of Jenna, Amy, Emily and Ian, cherished son of the late Arthur and the late Vera nee Miller, dear brother of the late Leonard. Member of Calumet Lodge #716 A.F. & A.M., Kiwanis, District 218 School Board, Volunteer Blue Island Fireman and Blue Island Chamber of Commerce. Visitation Wednesday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Thursday 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment Washington Memory Gardens Cemetery, Homewood.
