Diego Elias Avila, 25, of Blue Island, beloved son of Refugio Avila and Maria nee Arellano, cherished brother of Tanya Avila, loving uncle of Nathaniel Jacob and dearest nephew of Ruben Castillo and Irene Castillo. Visitation Thursday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral begins Friday 9:00 am with chapel prayers at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island for mass at 10:00 am. Interment St. Benedict Cemetery, Crestwood.
