Obituary of Frederick E. Schoenbohm

Tribute & Message From The Family Frederick E. Schoenbohm IV, 82, of Blue Island, passed from this life September 1, after a brief illness. Beloved husband of the late Carol nee Gierman, dear son of the late Rev. Frederick III and the late Lillian nee Hicks, loving brother of Dorothy (William) Rathje, cherished uncle of Jennifer Gierman Sheehan, Elizabeth Gierman Ellis and Stuart Rathje, devoted great uncle of Sarah, Calvin, Katherine, Margaret and Austin, warm friend of many. Fred was a graduate of Valparaiso University and a United States Army Veteran, serving two years of active duty and four years in the reserves. He was a retired employee of Clark Oil and life-long Sox fan. Fred was a faithful, active member of First Ev. Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery Fund, greatly appreciated.
