Tribute & Message From The Family Minetta T. Haffner nee Weismann, 90, of Tinley Park, formerly of Blue Island. Beloved wife of the late Harold. Devoted mother of Lenore (late William) Tracy, Janis (Jim) Hubbell, and Marsha (late John) Reynhout. Loving grandmother of Sarah (Tony) Brotherton and Jennifer (David) Boender. Caring great grandmother of Caleb, Nolan and Hannah. She was the daughter of the late Michael Weismann and Anna nee Schoebes, daughter in law of the late John Haffner and Mayme nee Hilgendort, sister in law of the late Raymond (Helen) , the late Lester (late Mary), late Earl and the late Lucille. Minetta was born and raised in Blue Island and attended First Ev. Lutheran Church and school where she was baptized, confirmed and married to her late husband Harold. They were united in marriage for 67 years. She was employed at First National Bank of Blue Island for 19 years when she retired because of ill health. She was a faithful member of Salem Ev. Lutheran Church for 61 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Salem Ev. Lutheran Church greatly appreciated.
