Obituary of Ronald Ellsworth Palmer

Tribute & Message From The Family Ronald "Ronnie" Ellsworth Palmer Sr., 76, of Alsip, beloved father of Ann Jeanette Palmer-Mickel of Oberlin, Ohio, Ronald "Ronnie" Ellsworth Palmer Jr. (Erica) of White Plains, Maryland, Darryl Ernest Palmer of Chicago and Donald Merrill Palmer (Noemi) of Woodbridge, Virginia, cherished brother of Robert A. (Ruth) Palmer of Oberlin, Ohio, ex-husband and friend of Doris Palmer of Oberlin, Ohio. Also a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, which were Ronnie's greatest love. He was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth Jeanette Mays and Merrill Palmer, his wife, Stella F. Hajdas-Palmer and his sister, Joyce Williams. Mr. Palmer was employed with Berglund Construction Company as a general laborer before retiring. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Alliance, Ohio and a member of the Lions Club in Wisconsin. He was a graduate of Alliance High School and served in the US Air Force. Mr. Palmer enjoyed bowling, fishing and was an avid sports fan.
