I used to live right across the alley from grandma so I was always over there. I would even bring my little neighborhood friends with because she was always stocked up on Parco cookies. I even used to color Easter eggs with her from time to time. I wish my son could have gotten to know her like I did because she would have been one of the best Great-Great Grandmas! I know she was very loved from her very big family and I will miss her very much!

We were certainly all impacted by the life of my grandma. We have all shared so many memories, and will take with us those videos and images in our minds. I always thougt it was so admirable the way my grandma took care of everyone around her. Even in her later years, grandma always made sure a meal was prepared, the laundry was done, and the "fights" between Uncle Georgie and Uncle Charlie were kept under control. Thank you grandma, for all you have done, and for just being you. We will always love you.

I feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful grandma. I can only hope I show some of the strength and love she showed her whole life, in all situations. Some of my favorite memories are from the days I spent the night and would listen to grandma tell stories about her childhood or about my mom and uncles when they were growing up and laughing together about them. Then cooking a late night snack like fries in the deep fryer or pizza until it was "very well" done. I will miss you and your smile Gram.
