I will miss my Uncle Felix. I didn't get to visit him as often as I wanted, but when I did he was always very warm and welcomed me and my wife Nadine into his home. I remember visiting one time and he gave us the best room in his house to sleep in.

Our hearts are heavy with sadness. Mr. Zamora was truly the epitome of a family man. We will always remember him greeting us at the door at 1:30 am after Midnight Mass to join the Zamoras for tamales and of course he made sure we left with some to take home. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Zamora family.

Mr. & Mrs. Zamora have always been like two teenagers very much in love -I still remember them walking into the local grocery store arm and arm giggling like school kids - but didn't care who was looking. Mr. Zamora was an amazing man! He will always have a warm place in my heart. We love you all and send our deepest sympathies.

My favorite memory of Nona's Dad is making tamales at their house for Christmas! Being a guerra...he let me off the hook a little and permitted me to use the machine he created to make mixing the masa not quite as difficult. :-) That holiday was so much fun - such a big, loud, friendly awesome family that he created, and I have no doubt he is looking down and beaming with pride at all of them right now!
