I remember Aunt Millie as such wonderful lady. I would visit at Aunt Adeline's and Uncle Emil's house and she would be there visiting with her sister. Of course, like Italian tradition, she would help make a luncheon "spread", which, even if you weren't hungry, you were insulting the family if you didn't eat. And even when you did eat, if you didn't eat seconds, you mustn't have like the meal very much...hahhaha! But I enjoyed visiting with my aunts and uncles, and wished I had learned to speak Italian, because on some occasions, they would speak Italian, which sounded beautiful, and all I could do was smile. Aunt Millie was very hospitable and was great to talk to. She loved to talk about her family. I am proud to have known her, and am happy to know her daughters and grandchildren. Rest in Peace!

Grandma Millie (as Heather called her), was a great woman who was loved by many. I will always remember her spitfire comments whenever I saw her @ Heather's family functions :) She made me laugh and smile on more than one occasion! Her love and compassion for her family and friends is something I know you will all hold dear to your heart. I am grateful to have met her, and known her as long as I did.

She was & always will be a Loving Mother. My fondest memories were that she always loved to take walks. In the winter it was too cold so she would walk in our apartment. We only had 3 rooms plus a bathroom so we would walk all around in a semi-circle. Then to make it interesting she would walk across the furniture. My sister, Carol & I would follow her the whole time & thought it was cool because we were never allowed to stand on any furniture. Since Mom did it we were able too. After all she was Mommy to me. I know your at Peace now Mom, I Love You !
