Ehlers, 86, of Country Club Hills, WWII Army veteran, beloved husband of the late Alice nee VanDyck, loving father of Chris (Susan), Mark (Jill), Sheri (Vitas) Briedis, Todd, Scott (Juanita) and Jacque (Roger) Sadowski, cherished grandfather of ten, proud great grandfather of six, dear brother of late Margaret "Sis" Randol, Neil, Miles Jr. "Cookie", Millie Vrshek, late Bobby, late Charles, David, Jack, Judy, Denny and Kathy DeNoyer. Carl was a long time resident of Blue Island until relocating to Country Club Hills in 1956.
