Obituary of Beatrice M. Boza

Beatrice M. Boza (née Sill), age 92, formerly of Blue Island, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, January 10, 2025.  A loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend she lived a life full of joy, kindness, and unconditional love for her family and friends.

Born on January 25, 1932, in Blue Island, Beatrice was the daughter of the late Leo and Catherine Sill. In 2021, Beatrice lost her beloved husband, Charles P. Boza, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and a sense of togetherness that will forever be remembered. She is the loving mother of Stanley Boza and Nancy (Michael) Bechstein.  Beatrice is the devoted grandmother of Emily (Matthew) Mishler and Amy Bechstein and the cherished great grandmother to Brody Mishler.  She is the dear sister to Patricia (Robert) McIntyre and Barbara (Louis) Pempek.  Beatrice was preceded in death by her siblings Kenneth Sill, Bill Sill, Carole Mitchel and Dennis Sill.  She leaves many other friends and family members to cherish her memory.

Beatrice was especially proud of her two granddaughters, Emily and Amy, and nothing made her heart swell more than the arrival of her great-grandson, Brody. She embraced her family with open arms and gave them a love that knew no bounds. Her greatest pride and joy were her family, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally and cherished every moment spent with them.

Beatrice was a woman whose warmth and vibrant spirit touched everyone around her. She was always smiling and finding joy in life's simplest moments. Beatrice made countless memories over the years filled with laughter, fun, and adventure. She was always looking for the good in people and life, and her cheerful nature was infectious. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for Beatrice will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave, Blue Island. Interment will follow at St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood.
