Greg was a good friend and co-worker on B.I.P.D. , he was an avid motorcycle rider on his Harley and enjoyed his bike on many occasions. I had the pleasure of including Greg as part of my bridal party when he stood up in my wedding in 1993. He was a great person and truly loved his daughter and always spoke of her. May he rest in Peace.....

Greg was an intelligent and sensitive human being, and although unorthodox, a very good law enforcement officer. We butted heads during our first encounter, and aparently we enjoyed the sensation so much that we became friends and remained so for 30 years. Among our disagreements was who would pay for the drinks. "This one's on me." No, I'm buying." And so it would go. Fortunately, it never escalated to the extent of ultimate scene in "The Quiet Man," and we enjoyed our libations and our conversations over them. In 1999, I determined I finally was ready for a relationship. Greg served as matchmaker. It was an August afternoon at BIPD during a conversation about which dog breed was best. After providing some advice, never in shortage with Greg, he thought he was reeling me in when he added, "Yiou know, if your serious about getting a dog, I have a beagle mom and pup in the back." Greg was the canine officer, and he had picked them up wandering from yard to yard searching for food. When I saw the pup I would call Lefty, it was, as Rick told Louie at the end of "Casablanca," the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Thank you, Greg. I always will be grateful for the 10 years I had with Lefty as well as the decades of our own beautiful friendship. Say hello to Lefty. I will be with you both again someday.
