Doris Arnell (née Rutz), 96, of Matteson, passed from this life Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Doris was the beloved wife of Norman Arnell who passed away June 12, 2020. She is the loving mother of Cathy (Jim) Sindt, Carol (Wally) Glogowski, Donna (Randy) Armstrong and Robert Arnell. She is the devoted grandmother of Karyn, Christy, Kim, the late Richard, Jennifer, Laura, Kyle and Sabrina and the proud great grandmother of Miranda, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Lucas, Peyton, Nathan, Jacob, Tyler, Davis, Taylor, Kennedy, Reagan, Hayes and Sophia. Doris was born July 20, 1928 in Blue Island, Illinois to the late Elmer and Dorothy Rutz. A private burial of cremains will take place at a later date at First. Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Alsip.
