Obituary of Beverly A. Quade

Beverly A. Quade, of Blue Island, passed away peacefully at her home on June 13, 2024 at the age of 93.

Beverly was the beloved wife of the late Edward A. Quade who passed away in March of 2017. They were united in marriage for fifty-eight years.  She is survived by her children Leslie (Patrick) Kennedy and Todd Quade and her grandchildren, twins; Patrick and Paige.

Beverly was born on October 14, 1930 to the late Ludowyn nee Jensen and Gunnar Swanson.  She attended local Blue Island schools and worked various jobs throughout the community.  Beverly was proud of sharing the same birthday as Dwight D. Eisenhower!  After retirement she loved spending her free time being a caregiver to her grandkids.  “Me-Me” was always willing to make an after school french toast for Patrick and Paige as no one could match Me-Me’s french toast!! 

Visitation for Beverly will be held Thursday, June 20^th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island.  The funeral service will be held Friday, June 21^st at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations to First Ev. Lutheran Church, 2519 Grove St., Blue Island, IL 60406, greatly appreciated.
