Andres Murillo of Posen, Illinois passed from this life Friday, January 12, 2024 at the age of 98. Andres was born November 30, 1925 in Mexico City to the late Isidro and the late Juana Murillo. He is the beloved husband of the late Olivia and the loving father of the late Andrew Murillo Jr., late Ruben Murillo, late John Murillo, Daniel Murillo, Antonio Murillo, Ophelia Pena, Theresa Canchola, Celia Willis, Elizabeth Rojas, Phillip Murillo, Isidro Murillo and Amelia Morales. Andres is the cherished grandfather and great grandfather of many and the dear brother of the late Rose Sanchez and the late Luis Murillo.

Andres was president of the several local soccer teams and was actively involved in the formation of the soccer team Vallodolid.

Visitation for Andres will be held Thursday, January 18, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. His funeral service will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 pm during the visitation at the funeral home. Cremation is private.
