Robert W. Ingalls of Chicago Ridge, passed from this life Friday, January 5, 2024, at the age of seventy-three.

Robert is the beloved father of Robert J. Ingalls and the proud grandfather of Jesse R. Ingalls. He is the loving brother of Earl (Linda) Ingalls, Carolyn (Willard) Agnew and James (Lynn) Ingalls. Robert leaves many other dear family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Robert was born July 17, 1950 in Chicago to the late Lorraine E. nee Earl and the late Jesse W. Ingalls. He was a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam. Robert was a family man and enjoyed spending time making memories with his grandson. He was an animal lover, opening his home to numerous dogs and cats. Robert was a Chicago Bears fan and in past years found fishing to be a relaxing sport. Beyond all this, his greatest pleasure was riding his Harley, often times stopping for a double cheese burger and a cool mug of Old Style!

Interment services including military honors for Robert will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm at Abraham Lincoln National VA Cemetery in Elwood.
