Obituary of Tina M. Morin

Tina M. Morin nee Bereta of Blue Island, passed from this life Saturday, October 21, 2023 at fifty-three years of age.

Tina is the cherished mother of Amberlin (Bryan) Rozek and Briana (Chad) Howard and the adored grandmother of Xander, Riley, Josiah and Isaiah. She is the beloved daughter of Sandy nee Sneed and the late Frank M. Bereta and the dear sister of the late Ronnie Bereta and Ken (June) Bereta. She leaves many other family members and friends to cherish her memory.

Tina was devoted to her family, and took special care of her grandfather and her Uncle Leonard. She was formerly employed as head of security for the Blue Island Park District for more than ten years, and was also formerly a crossing guard for Lincoln School. Tina loved woodworking and crafts, the community enjoyed seeing her incredible holiday displays especially at Memorial Park. She was a humble woman, however she will be remembered as a “Jill Of All Trades”, who could change a tire, repair a broken pipe or get a car engine back to working order!

Visitation for Tina will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a service being held at 6:30 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Cremation will be private.
