Robert D. La Morte Obituary
Robert D. La Morte of Blue Island passed from this life Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the age of 75. He was born May 1, 1948 in Blue Island to the late Michael La Morte and the late Susan nee Romeo. Robert is the beloved husband of Barbara J. nee Smaga and the cherished father of Eric (Julie) La Morte and Scott (Valerie) La Morte. He is the proud grandfather of Luke, Abby, Emma, Erin and Jason and the dear brother of Daniel La Morte and the late Michael La Morte.
Robert worked for more than 30 years for Cook County Enviromental Control and was an avid bowler in his free time.
Visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, July 1, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th St. in Alsip.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Easter Seals of DuPage in Villa Park, Illinois.
