Carlos Reyes, 93, of Blue Island, passed from this life May 26, 2023. He was born December 12, 1929 in Port Huron, Michigan.

Carlos was the beloved husband of the late Soledad Moreno. He is the loving father of Jose (Joe) Carlos Jr. (Benita) Reyes, Eddie (Debbie) Reyes, Lino (Kate) Reyes, Gloria (Paul) Oleksak, Margarita (Roberto) Nieves and Eric Reyes. Carlos is the cherished grandfather of Kristin, Brandon, Tabitha, Cassia, Ryan, Christopher, Nicholas, Glenn. Bobby Jr., Amelia. Alina and Santino. He is the proud great grandfather of Killian, Moya, Antonela, Meghan and Abby. Carlos leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Carlos was a devoted family man. He was hard working, providing all that he could for his family. Carlos was employed as a mechanic by General Motors for over twenty years. He began a dry wall company, which he ran for over fifty years and also owned and operated Southside Garage. Carlos continued to work into his seventies, then finally retired.

Cremation will be private.
