Esteban J. Garcia, 63, of Chicago, passed from this life Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He is the beloved husband of Elisa Garcia. The couple have been united in marriage for forty-five years. Esteban is the loving father of Violeta, Esteban Jr., Maria Elizabeth, Christina and Maricela and the devoted grandfather of Paola, Jaime Jr., Jasmine, Estrella, Yvette, Marissa, Rolando, Viviana, Cammie, Jay, Elalia, Jonathan, Mia, Julian Anthony, Alexia and David II. He is the dear brother of Lamberto, Marcos, Maria Elena, Luis, Jose, Maria Concepcion, Maria de los Angeles, Eligio, Margarita, Gumaro and Anita. Esteban leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Esteban was born November 28, 1959 in Los Herreras, Durango, Mexico to the late Dario and the late Reducinda Garcia. He was employed for 43 years by WC Richards Company in Alsip as a chemical formulator. Esteban was skilled with his hands and well respected. He was gifted with a brilliant mind for mechanics which made him revered by many, including his children, especially his son who always looked up to him.

Visitation for Esteban will be held Monday, March 13, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Holy mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 11533 S Prairie Ave., Chicago. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
