Obituary of Peggy Rosenfeldt

Peggy Rosenfeldt nee Lundy of Huntley, formerly of Blue Island, passed from this life Friday, March 3, 2023 at the age of 65.  Peggy was born April 24, 1957 in Blue Island to the late William Lundy and the late Betty nee Johnson.  She is the beloved wife of the late Lew Rosenfeldt, who passed away March 4, 2018, and the loving mother of James (Shannon) Daley and the late Kathleen M. Daley.  Peggy is cherished grandmother of Hannah Daley and Owen Daley and the dear sister of the late William Lundy, Susan (late Ralph) DeLuca, Kimberly Cahill and Christine (David) Prete.

Peggy was born and raised in Blue Island and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1975.  She was a retired Assistant HR Manager for the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1996 to 2016 and previously was employed by First National Bank of Blue Island.  Peggy loved to spend time with her grandchildren, was an avid bowler and a Nascar fan.

Visitation for Peggy will be held Friday, March 10, from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 noon at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island.  Interment will follow at Beverly Cemetery, 12000 S. Kedzie Ave., Blue Island.

I lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) will be greatly appreciated.
