Leslie A. Dean of Las Vegas, Nevada passed from this life on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the age of 86. Les is the beloved husband of the late Charlene nee Stevo, who passed away June 21, 2021 and the loving father of Michael, Patrick and Timothy Dean.

Les joined the military out of high school and served as an ordnance supply specialist. He was honorably discharged with a medal of good conduct and began his career in grocery management in Chicago. He had a long and successful career in management for Dominick's and Kroeger until his retirement when he relocated to Las Vegas. He was an accomplished woodworker and handyman and did most of the remodeling on his first home himself with assistance from his son Patrick.

Les enjoyed spending time with his wife, his sons, and his family. He spent summers in Minnesota with his mother and father relaxing, boating, and fishing. He enjoyed working on cars and built a car for his son Michael. He was a dog lover his whole life and enjoyed playing with his dogs Buddy and Princess.

Visitation for Les will be held Saturday, March 11, from 9:00 am until time of his funeral service at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. A private interment will take place in Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates Cemetery in Lemont.
