Leopoldo “Leo” Pinto Jr., 63, of Blue Island, passed from this life Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Leopoldo was born August 30, 1959 to the late Leopoldo and Antoinette Pinto. He is the beloved father of Anthony Pinto. Leopoldo is the loving brother of Gloria Hawthorne, the late Linda Reyes, Beverly (Daniel) Ramirez, Alicia Pinto, Ernesto Pinto, Susana Pinto and Nancy (Ken) Kostelanick. Leo leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Leo was an avid reader and sports enthusiast. In his earlier years, he enjoyed helping out with youth wrestling teams. Leo loved watching his beloved Cubs and socializing with friends at local restaurants.

In lieu of a service, a celebration of Leo’s life will be held at a later date. His ashes will be buried in St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood.
