William N. Klein, life long resident of Blue Island, passed from this life Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the age of 83. Bill was born January 2, 1939 in Blue Island to the late Walter G. Klein and the late Dorothy nee Nelson. He is the beloved father of Walter (Michelle) Klein, Brenda Payne, the late Judy Doornbos, Kathy (Jim) Postumus and Dawn (Dan) Wheatley and the cherished grandfather of August, Wyatt, Alicia, Max, Joe, Al, Simon, the late Josh, Chuck, Kari and Larry. Bill is the dear brother of the late Gladys Marchbanks and the late Ken (Pam) Klein.

Bill was a veteran of the US Army and worked for many years for the City of Blue Island in the Clerk's office. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and enjoyed music, opera and photography.

Visitation for Bill will be held Wednesday, December 28, from 9:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 noon at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, 2900 W. 111th St., Chicago.
