Michelle G. Rushing nee Davis, 73, of Woodland, IL, formerly of Blue Island, passed from this life Monday, July 25, 2022.

Michelle was born June 22, 1949 to the late Adeline nee Kozlowski and the late Edward Davis. She was devoted to her family and her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Michelle had a strong work ethic and instilled that quality in her children. She always did what was needed to support her family and friends. Michelle loved baking and cooking, her Christmas Cookies were like no other. She had an incredible collection of bakeware and also enjoyed shopping! To quote her children, she was an ”Awesome Mom”

Michelle was the beloved wife of the late LeRoy D. Rushing who passed away March 3, 2018. The couple were united in marriage May 6, 1972 in Blue Island. She is the loving mother of Joseph (Melissa) Rushing, Brian (Victoria) Rushing and Adrienne Rushing. Michelle is the cherished grandmother of Lisa, Saesha, Miranda, Kyra, Arlo and Zack. She is the dear sister of Charles (Donna) Davis, the late Judy (late Patrick) O’Connor and William (Laurie) Davis. Michelle leaves many other family members and friends to cherish her memory.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 3:00 pm until the time of memorial service at 7:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island.
