Obituary of Charles E. Janel

Charles E. Janel, 86, formerly of Flossmoor and Blue Island, passed from this life Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Chuck was born June 10, 1935 in Chicago to the late Stephanie nee Butkus and the late Charles P. Janel. He was the loving brother of the late Martha Janel. Chuck was the former owner and operator of Fehser Florist in Blue Island for many years. He enjoyed gardening, decorating and reading. Chuck was a dear friend of the Krueger Family. The Christmas Holidays were never complete until Mrs. Krueger and Chuck finished the holiday decorating! He was a quiet, gentle, patient man who had a passion for the floral industry. Chuck was proud of his talents and it showed in all of his beautiful creations. Cremation was private.
