Elizabeth Veronica Burke, 40, of Crestwood, formerly of Blue Island, passed from this life, Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
Elizabeth is the devoted mother of Eliot Matthew Burke and Emerson Timothy Burke. She is the cherished daughter of Mary L. Smith and the late Timothy A. Burke. Liz was the loving sister of the late Matthew Aiden Burke. She is the adored niece of Donna Tritz and the late Susan Lawrence, James Smith and Joan Markham. Liz leaves numerous other family members and friends to cherish her memory.
Elizabeth was born December 14, 1981 in Palos Heights. She attended Blue Island School District 130, Eisenhower High School and was a member of the Alan B. Shepherd graduating class of 2000. Liz had a special charm that she shared only with those she knew well. Liz was dedicated to her profession, working at Louisa’s Pizza and Pasta in Crestwood for the past twenty years.
A Celebration of Liz’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island.
