Roque Lopez, 57, of Ojo De Agua de Serrato, passed from this life February 22, 2022. He was born January 7, 1965 in La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico.

Roque is the beloved husband of Leticia Lopez Carbajal. He is the loving father of Felipe Lopez, Eric Lopez, Celeste Lopez and Alina (Guillermo) Fonseca. Roque is the adored grandfather of Melina, David, Elisa and Lucia. He was the dear son of the late Enrique Lopez and the late Isabel Lagunas. “We will love you forever, Coco’s”

Roque was devoted to his family and they fondly referred to him as “Coco’s”. He was a highly skilled carpenter and also a member of La Esparanza Futbol Team. He enjoyed playing futbol, however he had a passion for music and dancing.


Visitation for Roque will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 9:00 am until the time of Holy Mass at 10:00 am at St. Donatus Church, 1939 Union St., Blue Island. Interment will take place at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago.
