Gabriel Fernandez, 62, of Joliet, formerly of Blue Island, passed from this life Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Gabriel was born August 11, 1959 in Mexico to Guadalupe Guzman Gomez and the late Antonio Fernandez Amezola. He was the former owner of G&F Drywall until his retirement.
Gabriel is the beloved father of Maria (Robert) Stahulak and Angelica (Eric) Stadter. He is the proud grandfather of Madison, Bobby, Ella, Gavin, Ethan, Declan and Audrey. He is the loving brother of Doroteo Fernandez, Maria Elena Fernandez, the late Antonio Fernandez, the late Jesus Fernandez, Francisco Fernandez, Alicia Fernandez, Salvador Fernandez, and Jose Alfredo Fernandez. Gabriel is the dear partner to Debbie Grzenia.
Visitation for Gabriel will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place in Degollado, Jalisco, Mexico.
