Obituary of Rosa M. Murillo

Rosa M. Murillo of Harvey passed from this life Friday, December 10, 2021 at the age of 91. She was born July 27, 1930 in Mexico to the late Isidro Murillo and the late Juana Urrutia. Rosa is the beloved mother of Jose Luis (Delia) Sanchez, Maria T. (late Roberto) Calderon, and David (Cassandra) Sanchez and the loving grandmother of Susana (Shane) McVey, Enrique Calderon, Cesar Calderon, Jose Luis (Lorena) DeLeon, Cristina Calderon, Caleb Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Christopher Sanchez, Gene Sanchez, and Diane Sanchez. She is the cherished great grandmother of 11, the proud great great grandmother of 2 and the dear sister of Andres Murillo. Rosa was a jewelry dealer and traveler, enjoyed the slots at local casinos and most of all loved spending time with her family and telling stories. Visitation for Rosa will be held Tuesday, December 14, at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island from 3:00pm to 8:00pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Cremation is private.
