Obituary of MaryLou Renteria

MaryLou Renteria, 81, of Oak Forest, passed from this life Friday, November 26, 2021. She was born February 27, 1940 in Chicago. MaryLou is the loving mother of Michael (Sharon) Herrera, Michelle (Frank) Alaniz, Chachi (David) Roth, Linda (Don) Dohr, the late Nancy Herrera, Hector Herrera and Antonio (Lisa) Herrera. She is the cherished grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of many. MaryLou is the dear sister of Pete Renteria. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking delicious meals for them. Visitation for MaryLou will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Chapel prayers will be begin Friday at 9:45 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island, for mass at 10:30 am. Interment will take place at Cedar Park Cemetery in Calumet Park.
